Dr. Dimitris Antonakakis

Body Composition Analyst 

Dr. Dimitris Antonakakis is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2005).

He is a pioneer in Sports Body Composition Mapping. More specifically, in the comprehensive and structural analysis of the body, with simultaneous interpretation and personalized recommendation to the athlete and, by extension, to the coach and parent on health, physiology, development, and nutrition issues. The goals are the most effective development of athletes, maximizing and prolonging performance while avoiding injuries. His main concern is ensuring health and physiology through prevention and adherence to the energy rules that everyone, athletes and non-athletes alike, should follow to achieve a higher quality and expected survival.

He was a member of the National Swimming Team from 1991 to 2001 with many international distinctions. His love for sports evolved, and from 2005 to the present, he has been offering his medical services to a plethora of athletes of all levels and ages, as well as to 32+ teams throughout Greece and Cyprus. He is also behind the successes of several Greek athletes at the World and Olympic levels.

Responsible for taking medical history, injecting contrast agents, and treating any allergic reactions in patients undergoing axial and magnetic tomography

2005 – Present: Physician responsible for numerous sports teams

2006: Physician of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense

Served as an auditor of the Military personnel’s records in their clinic

2005 – 2006: Physician at the Health Corps in Samos

In charge of external clinics and military childcare facilities conducting 3 air evacuations to the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens.
