ATHLETICS

Androniki started swimming at the age of three. She specializes in Backstroke, Freestyle and Butterfly. She has been racing since a very young age and always tries to push her limits and achieve her goals.
2023-2024: Androniki came 2nd in the 50m backstroke at the all-regional Championship in SCM. At the same meet, she set her personal best in the 50m butterfly. She also came 3rd in the 50m backstroke at Junior Winter Nationals and achieved a PB in the 50m freestyle. In the 50m backstroke, she managed to qualify 5th to the finals of the High School Nationals with a PB.
2022-2023: She managed to do some great races and her personal best in the 200m backstroke LCM and 100m backstroke SCM, even though it was a rough season with a lot of injuries. She also took 8th place at the Junior Winter Nationals in the 50m backstroke.
2021-2022: She won medals in every regional race by keeping stable and achieving PBs in her main events.
2020-2021: Due to Covid-19, the number of meets that took place was limited, but Androniki tried her best to maintain her form both in practices and meets.
2019-2020: During this season, Androniki added 11 medals from regional meets mostly in the events of backstroke and in the 50m freestyle. Also she got 5th place in the 100m backstroke and 6th place in 50m and 200m backstroke at the First Phase of Nationals.

AQUANEX™ & College Week Evaluation by Coach Jesse Moore

Androniki participated in our annual College Week of Swimming and was coached under the direction of Coach Jesse Moore (learn more about Coach Moore HERE). Androniki has also been included in our Aquanex™ Program of Swimming Technique and Power Analysis and Improvement.

PERSONAL

Androniki was born in Ioannina, Greece where she currently lives and has an older sister (20 years old). She started swimming when she was about 3 years old and from a really young age, she created big goals for her swimming career. She is attending a public high school in her town, where so far she is ranked 1st in her class for her academic excellence and dedication. She has also participated in the seminar called ”Swim Clinic” by the Olympians Ryan Lochte and Michael Andrew in December 2022. She is looking forward to showing her swimming talent and following her life dream of pursuing collegiate studies along with swimming.
