ATHLETICS

Charalampos started swimming in 2009 at the age of two and a half years old. He specializes in freestyle sprint events, as well as sprint butterfly events.
2022-2023: Charalampos made remarkable progress in the events of 50 and 100 meters butterfly and came 8th at Junior Nationals in the 50m freestyle.
2021-2022: He came 5th at Junior Nationals in the 50m freestyle and 6th in the 400m freestyle mixed relay of his team (Stars Swim Academy).
2020-2021: During that year no official meets took place due to COVID-19.
2019-2020: Charalampos came 3rd at Junior Nationals in the 100m freestyle, 6th in the 50m freestyle, 2nd in the 400m mixed freestyle relay, as well as the 400m mixed medley relay, and 400m freestyle men’s relay, and also came 3rd in the 800m freestyle men’s relay with his team (Stars Swim Academy).
2018-2019: He won Junior Nationals in 50m and 100m butterfly and came 2nd in the 200m individual medley. He also won 50m butterfly and 200m individual medley in an international meeting called: “LEFKOS PIRGOS”

AQUANEX™  & College Week Evaluation by Coach Jesse Moore 

Charalampos participated in our annual College Week of Swimming and was coached under the direction of Coach Jesse Moore (learn more about Coach Moore HERE). Charalampos has also been included in our Aquanex™ Program of Swimming Technique and Power Analysis and Improvement.

PERSONAL

Charalampos was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. His father, Christophoros is an accountant and a former Water Polo player and his mother, Maria, is part of an emergency medical crew and a former swimmer. He is currently attending a private high school called “Hellenic College Of Thessaloniki”. He has also participated in a swimming camp in Greece hosted by the former Olympian swimmer Alexander Popov, which he completed remarkably.
