ATHLETICS

Dimitris started swimming at the age of 4 and he specializes in Freestyle, Backstroke and Butterfly. He has also swum in Open Water races. Dimitris has been taking part in races since then and always manages to achieve every goal he has in mind.
2024-2025: Dimitris came 1st in the 400m and 800m freestyle and 2nd in the 200m freestyle at the Junior Winter Nationals. He also came 1st in the 200m backstroke, 2nd in the 100m and 200m freestyle and 3rd in the 100m backstroke at Race Days in Dortmund, Germany.
2023-2024: In the Junior Winter Nationals he came 1st in 400m and 1500m freestyle and 2nd in 800m freestyle. He also came 2nd in 4x1500m medley mix in 19 – 23 category Open Water and became young men΄s champion.
2022-2023: Dimitris came 2nd in 800m and 1500m freestyle at the all – regional Championship. He also came 1st in 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle at the Junior Winter Championship.
2021-2022: During this season Dimitris came 1st in 1500m freestyle at the all – regional Championship. At the Junior Winter Championship came 1st in 200mand 400m freestyle.
All these years Dimitris participated in many regional meets from which he added many more medals and awards in his long collection.

PERSONAL

Dimitris was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he currently lives, on 3rd January 2009. He has an older and a younger brother. He has been swimming since the age of 4 always having big goals. Dimitris is attending high school in Filyro and he is a member of the pre – national swimming team from the age of 13. Having a great performance both at school and in swimming he wants to pursue further studies and swimming in a USA university.
