ATHLETICS

Josef started swimming when he was 5 y.o and his inspiration had always been Michael Phelps. he has been racing since a very young age and always tries to push his limits. Despite the difficulties he faced with Covid19, he never stopped practicing and managed to set new personal records. He also often swims the 5k and sets new personal records every time he participates in it.
2022-2023: 2 more medals were added in his collection during this season, mostly from Regional Meets and came 2nd in the 5k at Junior OWS Nationals.
2021-2022: During this season Josef added 4 medals from Regional Meets and participated in the 5k for the first time.
2020-2021: Due to the pandemic it was a hard season for everyone, but Josef managed to improve his personal bests in all his best events.
2019-2020: Josef improved his personal bests in the 100, 200 and 800m free and added 2 medals to his collection.

AQUANEX™  

Like all our Swimmers, Josef has been included in our Aquanex™ Program of Swimming Technique and Power Analysis and Improvement. Recording files and analysis reviews are available upon request.

PERSONAL

Josef was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete. He is an only child. His father, Christos, is a freelancer and his mother Anastasia is a Civil Engineer. He is currently attending the local high school of his town and is a valuable member of the A.O PROTATHLITES team.
