ATHLETICS

Konstantinos has prior experience playing basketball for a total of seven years, concluding in 2020. After the covid period, he made the decision to transition to swimming, where he has developed a strong passion about. His best stroke is Freestyle and has been highly competitive in the 50, 100 and 200 metres but he is open to exploring other events to discover his fourth strong suit. He is always open to discussing his experiences and achievements in swimming, and always does his best to improve and grow in the sport.
2022-2023: Konstantinos was able to achieve some great results in various swimming competitions. He managed to secure first place in the 200m freestyle and second place in the 100m freestyle at Winter SCM Nationals. Moreover, his relay team came 5th at Junior Winter Nationals. He also won 4 more medals throughout the season at various Regional Meets. He also competed in the 5km OWS Nationals and 1km OWS at the international X-terra competition where he came 1st overall.
2021-2022: That season was a challenging one for Konstantinos as he had to stay out of the water for almost a year. However, despite the setback, he managed to improve his personal best times in the 50m, 100m, and 200m freestyle events. Additionally, he added two medals to his collection in the 100m and 200m freestyle categories at a very important and highly competitive regional meet. Unfortunately, he couldn’t participate at Junior Nationals due to his Covid-19 illness.
2020-2021: During that year no official meets took place due to COVID-19.
