His love for water began at the age of six-months old at Okeanos Swimming Club where he stayed until 2017.  At the age of twelve, he started swimming competitively as a member of Okeanos and then left to join Nireas Gerakas’s Water Polo Team. In U14, Agis officially held the position of basic defense (Hole D/Center Defense/Point) as the main player for his age group as well as for U15 and U16.  At the age of 14, Agis began training with a personal coach to reach the highest level of performance in Water Polo. At the age of 15 he started to train on occasion with the men’s team, one of the best teams in A2 level in the Nation. During this time, the CGS Athletic Elite Progamme invited Agis to become part of their team, where he started morning training sessions as part of his routine. At the age of 15-16, Agis not only played in matches of his age group but also at U17 and U18 level as well as some men’s matches. In 2022, his team finished 8th at the Water Polo Junior Nationals. In October of 2023, the Olympiakos Water Polo Team, one of the three best teams in the world, invited him to join their team. Officially as of September 2024, Agis will be playing for the Olympiakos Water Polo Team while he will start training with his new club as of June of 2024.
Agis sets goals and always aims to achieve them. He is focused, disciplined, and always gives 100% of himself in every training session and in every match he participates in. Agis aspires to compete in the collegiate level in the United States.
