ATHLETICS
Panagiotis started swimming at the age of six. He specializes in the 100m and 200m fly and freestyle. In 2022-2023, he also explored swimming open water, and swam his first 5k event in 1:00:02.80.
2022-2023: Panagiotis came 8th in the 200m fly and 7th in the 1500m Free at Junior Nationals. It was an experimental year, as he had only swam the 1500m three times before that.
2021-2022: He managed to make some great progress after switching teams, even though it was a rough season with numerous injuries and sickness.
2020-2021: Due to Covid-19, the number of meets that took place was limited, yet Panagiotis improved his best times.
2019-2020: Up until the pandemic lockdown, Panagiotis had managed to improve his personal best times. After the lockdown, having not practiced in a pool for nearly two months, he was still able to set personal bests in all of his events.
2018-2019: Panagiotis took the 16th place at Junior Nationals in the 200m fly, after a year of recovery from an elbow injury.
