Minor Data Protection Policy

1. Purpose of the Policy

This Policy describes how MAX College Sports®, located at Ethnikis Antistaseos 3, Ymittos, collects, uses, and protects the personal data of minors in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law 4624/2019.

2. Types of Data Collected

The company collects and processes the following data:

• Full name, age, date of birth
• Photos and videos of the athlete
• Athletic performance data and participation in events
• Contact details of the parent/guardian

3. Purpose of Processing

The above data is collected and used exclusively for:

• Promoting and showcasing athletes through the posting of their information and photographs on the company's website or official social media pages.
• Displaying photographic and audiovisual material from training sessions, events, or competitions for the purpose of informing the public and promoting athletic activities.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of minors' data is based on the explicit consent of the parent/guardian or legal representative when the minor is under 15 years of age, in accordance with Articles 6(1)(a) and 8 of the GDPR and Article 21 of Law 4624/2019.

Once the minor reaches 15 years of age, they may provide consent themselves.

Consent may be provided in writing or electronically and can be withdrawn at any time.

5. Public Posting of Photos and Material

• The company may publish photos or videos from training sessions, competitions, or events in which minor athletes appear.
• These publications are used solely for promoting athletic activity and athlete development, without commercial exploitation.
• No sensitive data or information beyond what is necessary for this purpose will be published.
• The Company will not disclose this material to third parties without obtaining new consent.

6. Data Retention Period

Data and photos are retained for as long as:

• The minor participates in the company's program, and
• Valid consent from the parent/guardian is in place.

After cooperation ends or consent is withdrawn, the data and photos will be immediately removed from public platforms and securely deleted.

7. Data Security (Art. 62 of Law 4624/2019)

The company applies all appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data, ensure confidentiality, and protect data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, or any other unlawful processing.

Additionally, all individuals who access or process personal data on behalf of the company are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations.

8. Rights of Parents and Guardians

The parent or guardian of the minor athlete (or the minor themselves if applicable) has the right to:

• Be informed and access the child's data (Articles 12–15 GDPR)
• Request correction or deletion (Articles 16–17 GDPR)
• Withdraw consent at any time (Article 7 GDPR)
• Request restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
• Receive data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
• File a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA)
